CRS inspection of Reasi-Sangaldan Section (46Km) was carried out from 26th to 28th June 2024 including Successful speed trail and CRS Authorization also obtained. Now 63 Km of section (katra to Sangaldan) is ready for dedication | Banihal-Sangaldan section (48 km) was dedicated to the nation by Honble PM on 20-02-24. Works on remaining Katra-Sangaldan section (63 km) are in an advanced stage of completion. This section includes 14 main tunnels and 5 escape tunnels wherein mining of both main and escape tunnels has been completed. Now, 639m of lining in MT is balance out of a total scope of 43.33 km, in challenging geology of Tunnel T-33 and T-42. More than 61 km of track linking has been completed out of the total scope of 67 km. Only 1 bridge remains out of the total 33 bridges. Total 4 stations are in between Katra- Sangaldan section. All stations completed. |
