Background Information

• Work sanctioned via item no 3 pink book 1982-83. • Jan 1991: 1st block section Nangal Dam – Una Himachal (16.450 km) was commissioned. • May 2005: 2nd block section Una Himachal – Churaru Takrala (16.3 km) was commissioned. • July 2011: 3rd block section Churaru Takrala – Amb Andaura (11.162 km) was commissioned. • Jan 2019: 4th block section Amb Andaura – Daulatpur Chowk (15.425 km) was commissioned. • Daulatpur Chowk – Kartoli Punjab (5th block section 10.735 km): L section approved. Detailed estimate of 4th and 5th block section was sanctioned on 03.12.2008. Revised estimate was sanctioned on 13.03.2018. Land acquisition is under progress. Forest clearance of 2.32 Ha obtained out of 2.88 Ha. • Kartoli Punjab – Talwara (6th block section 14.923 Km): L – Section approved on 29.05.2019. Detailed estimate of 6th block section was sanctioned on 03.04.2019. Land acquisition under progress. Forest clearance of 20.86 Ha to be obtained. Mukerian – Talwara (29.16 km): Contract awarded on 05.05.2021 and work in progress.
