Background Information
All sections commissioned except NGT-Thirukuvalai-TTP NL (38 Km) and PEM-KIK New Line (23 km). Regarding Peralam-Karaikal, EW & bridge works are in progress. Total extent of 4.42 Ha of land is required for this New Line TDC: December 2023. The revised estimate including Northern connectivity for KIKP submitted to Board with GM approval on 13.12.2021.Board has returned the RE with observations. Being attended. The KIK-PEM NL project is included in Vision 2024. Reg. TTP-NGT NL, works are in progress and the TDC is 31.03.25.
