Tarkeshwar –Goghat (32.85 Km) New line – Commissioned on 06.03.2016.
Maynapur – Bishnupur (22.68 Km) New line – Commissioned on 16.09.2012.
(i) Maynapur – Bara Gopinathpur (7.72 Km): Commissioned on 27.12.2024
(ii) Bara Gopinathpur – Jayrambati (7.10 Km) : Targeted in 2024-25. Physical progress: 82%. Work in progress. TDC: Feb’25.
(iii) Kamarpukur – Jayrambati (5.19 Km): Targeted in 2025-26. The project is falling in Hooghly District. Physical progress: 42%. Work in progress. TDC: Feb’26.
(iv) Goghat – Kamarpukur (5.50 Km): Targeted in 2024-25. Physical Progress- 65%. Though land has been handed over, but the work has been stopped at about 950 M length near “Bhaba Dighi Pond” by local villagers since Mar’2017, Continuous follow up with Govt of WB is on to sort out the law & order issue.

Goghat – Kamarpukur (5.50 Km) was completed during 2018-19 except 950m stretch where the work is stopped by local villagers at Bhabadighi pond since March’2017. The matter is being pursued with State Govt.

(b) Jayrambati – Maynapur (14.62 Km) part of Tarakeshwar – Bishnupur (82.46 Km) project falling in Bankura District:- Target – Dec’2024. Physical Progress- 66%. Work in progress.
CRITICAL ISSUE:
i. Local public frequently stops work (Land issues demand of additional RUBV/Bridge)
ii. Removal of Electrical infringement: 39 infringements removed out of 40. Work for balance 01
Infringement removal in progress (TDC-10.04.2024).
iii. Elec (TRD) tender finalized & LOA issued on 07.07.2023 & drawing under preparation and
Elec (G) tender opened on 15.06.23. LOA issued on 14.08.2023. TRD foundation started from
Maynapur side. 37 nos OHE mast foundation casted till date as per available bed.
iv. Tender for S&T work opened on 07.08.2023 & under finalisation.
