| Major activities completed during March 2024:
Unit-7: Erection/ testing /commissioning of various equipment/ systems are in progress. A major milestone “Turbine Generator put on Barring Gear” is achieved. Load test of all Condenser Cooling Water (CCW) pumps is completed. Preparatory activities towards start of Initial Fuel Loading are in progress. Physical progress of the unit as on end March 2024 is 97.24%.
Unit-8: Erection of equipment & components is in progress. A major milestone “Charging of Start Up Transformer” is achieved. Erection of feeders is already completed. Installation of Seal Rings is in progress. Construction of Induced Draft Cooling Towers (IDCTs) and Natural Draft Cooling Towers (NDCTs) is in progress. Physical progress of the unit as on end March 2024 is 83.87%.
| Major activities completed during July 2023:
RAPP Unit-7: Erection/ testing /commissioning of various equipment/ systems are in progress. A major milestone “Reactor Building Proof Test and Integrated Leak Rate Test (ILRT)” has already been completed. Further improvements based on the feedbacks from KAPP-3 are in progress. Construction of Induced Draft Cooling Towers (IDCTs) and Natural Draft Cooling Towers (NDCTs) is in progress. 2 out of 4 cells are in water circulation mode in IDCT-7A. 72 hr load test of 2 nos. of fan assembly has been completed in IDCT-7B. Physical progress of the unit as on end July 2023 is 96.04%.
RAPP Unit-8: Erection of equipment & components are in progress. Feeder erection is in progress. Construction of Raker columns of NDCT - 8A and fill supporting structure in NDCT-8B is in progress. Physical progress of the unit as on end July 2023 is 82.23%.
