| Present status/Major activities completed during August 2024:
Manufacturing and progressive delivery of Long Manufacturing Cycle Equipment and components are in progress and so far cumulative 422 out of 444 Nos. manufacturing milestones are completed.
42nd Break Bulk Vessel containing about 1400 FRT (Freight Ton) project cargo arrived at Tuticorin port on 10.08.2024.43rd Break Bulk Vessel containing about 1,550 FRT (Freight Ton) project cargo departed from Novorossiysk port, Russian Federation on 19.08.2024.All six contracts signed with Russian side for supplies and services and are under execution.
In Indian scope, 13 nos. LV Switchgear Panels, Balance lot of 230kV Clamps & Connectors(EPC Switchyard Package), ~ 96 MT of CMS Materials &5000 nos. of galvanized Iron JBs (Main Plant Electrical Package),8 nos. Gate Storage Racks (EPC Sea Water System Package), GI & SS Wire mesh cable trays (EPC Common Services Package), Hand & foot monitors (3 nos.) and Vehicle monitors (4 nos.) (EPC C&I Package) and Segments of 9th arm of Passive Heat Removal System (PHRS) ducts assemblies for Unit-3are dispatched/delivered to KKNPP site.
Handover certificate for 3143 Working Documentation packages have been issued so far out of total 3196.
Unit-3: Civil works and mechanical erection works are in progress. Concreting of Outer Containment (OC) dome first lift from Elevation (El) +46.9 Meter (M) to +49.9 M is in progress in Reactor Building (RB).Concreting of roof slab at El+16.4 M in Emergency Power Supply & Control Building is completed. Tube insertion, expansion and welding completed for all tubes for Condenser-1 in Turbine Building. Trestles erection is in progress. Physical progress of the Unit-3 as of end August 2024 is 75.02%.
Unit-4: Civil works and mechanical erection works are in progress. Concreting of Reactor Cavity from El +28 M to +28.9 M in Reactor Building and concreting of part slab at El +0.05 M in Emergency Power Supply & Control Building is completed. Erection of Service trolley gantry of Polar crane in Reactor Building is completed. Physical progress of the Unit-4 as of end August 2024 is 71.24%.

40th and 41st Break Bulk Vessel containing ~1405 FRT (Freight Ton) project cargo arrived at Tuticorin port, Tamilnadu.
In Indian scope, 1 Switchgear board for Chlorination Plant and 4 km of Glass Reinforced Plastic (GRP) Cable Tray (EPC-Common Services Package), Two 6 kV switchboards for Unit-4, 50 MT of Cable Metal Structures and 100 km of C&I Cables (Main Plant Electrical Package), 8 Manual Cranes (EPC-Material Handling Equipment Package) and 326 ventilation dampers are dispatched/delivered to KKNPP site. Shipping Release Note (SRN) is issued for 6 Sea water system gates (EPC- Sea Water System Package) and 100 instrument support stands (EPC-Control & Instrumentation (C&I) Package).

Concreting of Outer Containment (OC) wall up to Elevation (El) +43.9 Meter (M) and slab at El. +36.0 M of Passive Heat Removal System (PHRS) is under progress in Reactor Building (RB). Trestles erection is in progress. Tube expansion works and tube welding is in progress in Condenser-1 in Turbine Building (TB)-3. Tube insertion and tube integrity testing is in progress in Condenser-2. Physical progress of the Unit-3 as of end March 2024 is 72.80%.
Unit-4: Civil works and mechanical erection works are in progress. Concreting of Outer containment (OC) wall up to El +28 M and slab at El +31.7 M of Accident Localization Area (ALA) in Reactor Building are in progress. Concreting walls above El 14 M is in progress in Reactor Auxiliary Building (RAB)-4. Concreting of slab at El +16.0 M and walls & columns above El +16 M is in progress in Turbine Building (TB)-4. Concreting of slab at El +12.55 M & +15.5 M of Normal Operation power Supply Building is in progress.
Physical progress of the unit-4 as of end March 2024 is 68.98%.
