Background Information
1. Production from Muraidih UG mine is being delayed due to forest clearance issue which is under process of approval. 2. For NoC of GMJJ land: • Payment of Rs. 48,19,08,919/- has been done on 17.01.2024 against demand raised by DC, Dhanbad for Barora mouza (2.80 Ha) & Barmasia mouza (24.50 Ha) for issuance of NoC of GM JJ land. NoC for GMJJ Land of 64.12 Acre granted on 09.12.2024 3. For FRA: • Gram sabha of Barora mouza and Barmasia mouza held at regular intervals. Gram Sabha for reconstitution of Forest Rights Committee held on 03.07.2024. Gram Sabha for Barora Mouza held on 13.08.2024 (sent to SDM office on 09.09.24). FRA certificate awaited. Regular follow up is being done. • Reply of queries raised by Nodal Officer/ PCCF Ranchi on 03.02.2023 submitted on 13.12.2024 after receiving NoC on 09.12.2024. Proposal returned by DFO, Dhanbad on 05.02.2025 for preparation of KML file and DGPS Map for revised CA Land. KML file and DGPS Map for revised CA Land provided by CMPDI on 26.03.2025. Proposal forwarded from DFO Office to the Office of CF, Bokaro on 19.04.2025. Query raised from the Office of CF, Bokaro received on 03.05.2025, reply submitted on 07.05.2025. Proposal forwarded by DFO, Dhanbad to CF, Bokaro on 15.05.2025.Bolter miner package has been supplied in the mine. There is an issue of forest clearance. Production from Muraidih UG mine is being delayed due to forest clearance issue. Application for Stage-I forest clearance submitted online on 09.03.2020 on PARIVESH Portal for 133.69 Ha forest land. The application is under process with State Govt. CF, Bokaro forwarded the Stage-I application to Nodal Officer/PCCF-cum-ED Jharkhand on 10.01.2023. Nodal Officer/PCCF-cum-ED has sought NoC under FRA (at stage-I itself), NoC of GMJJ land etc. on 03.02.2023 for which regular follow up is being made with DC Dhanbad. Gram sabha of Barora Mouza held on 04.01.2023 and that of Barmasia Mouza held on 23.03.2023, 22.04.2023 and again on 16.05.2023. It is learnt that the proceedings of Gram sabha has been forwarded to Sub divisional level Committee. FRA Certificate and NoC for GMJJ Land is awaited. Regular follow up is being done.
