2.MP Forest land (353.76 Ha, Revised: 288.844 Ha): After RO inspection, NO, Bhopal forwarded the proposal in the Parivesh portal to MoEFCC on 24.01.2024. MoEFCC vide letter dated 15.03.2024 communicated the decision of FAC to Govt. of MP for removing the condition in Stage I FC regarding excluding VDF patches for mining. Govt. of MP has recommended to MoEFCC for issuance of Stage II FC vide letter dated 21.03.2024. Issuance of Stage II FC letter is awaited.
3.UP Forest Land (30.50 Ha): The search for nonforest land for compensatory afforestation was pursued with RO, MoEFCC, Lucknow, following updated guidelines. The project submitted an undertaking to DFO Renukoot on 12.09.2023, with additional queries raised by DFO Renukoot on 21.09.2023. Furthermore, the Revenue department of the Government of Uttar Pradesh was asked to confirm the availability of NonForest Land for CA Purpose on 21.11.2023. D(T/PP), NCL, in a letter dated 21.11.2023 to the Additional Chief Secretary of the Revenue department, requested confirmation of the availability of nonforest land for CA Purpose. GM(Bina) also requested DM, Sonbhadra, to provide 30.5 Ha of nonforest land for CA purpose via a letter dated 20.01.2024.
