Background Information

Project Report for Sharda UG (0.51 MTY) was approved by WCL Board in its 344th meeting held on 29.07.2022 for capital investment of Rs. 200.160 Crore (including WDV) on equipment hiring option with desired selling price to yield 12% IRR at 85% capacity subject to cost plus agreement with prospective consumers. Accordingly cost plus agreement was executed on 05.09.2023 with MPPGCL for 0.4335 MTY.
