| 1. Proposal for amendment of EC conditions was submitted to MOEF& CC on 11.06.2025. EDS raised by MOEF& CC was replied on 17.06.2025. The Proposal was considered in 28th EAC meeting of MOEF& CC held on 30.06.2025.
2. Monthly Environment monitoring of Ambient Air Quality, Noise level, work zone monitoring, personal sampling, ground water and surface water quality carried out from 05th-07th June’ 2025 and 20th- 22nd June’2025. Illumination survey at Utkal-D&E Coal mine was conducted on 30.06.2025.
| 1) Coal Production & Dispatch of 2 Million Tonnes have been accomplished from the Utkal-D Coal Mines for the fiscal year 2023-24, aligning with the planned production targets set for Utkal-D Coal Mines.
2) Renewed Consent to Operate (CTO) has been obtained for Utkal-D Coal Mines from OSPCB on 28.03.2024. The CTO is valid for the period 01.04.2024 to 31.03.2025.
3) The Annual Grade Analysis report for the FY 2024-25, covering both Seam IX and VIII-B of Utkal D Coal Mine, was received from the CCO on 14.03 2024, identified as G-14.
4)Illumination survey at Utkal-D coal Mine was conducted on 28.03.2024.
5)14th Pit Safety Committee meeting was held in Utkal-D Coal Mine on 29.03.2024.
6) The modified Mining Plan of Utkal-D & E coal Block (combined) was re-submitted in the Single Window Clearance System (SWCS) portal of MoC on 07.03.2024. Scrutiny Committee of MoC, GoI gave some observation on 23.03.2024. Reply to said observation was submitted in SWCS portal of MoC, GoI on 27.03.2024.
7) 13 Ha Forest Diversion Proposal:
a) Proposal forwarded by DFO to RCCF, Angul on 17.03.2024 and further to PCCF Nodal on 20.03.2024.
b.Office of PCCF Nodal raised some observation on 27.03.2024, which was replied on the same day.
8) 299.697 Ha Re Diversion Proposal:
a) DFO, Angul vide letter dated 20.0.2024 has requested NALCO to inform if all the forest diversion pillars are intact for this re diversion area.
b.The damaged/ removed pillars are being replaced and compliance to be submitted.
