Techno-commercial evaluation (of offers received against executing the balance work under scope of M/s BEC) completed. Only one bidder viz. MECON is techno-commercially eligible.
Decremental price bid submitted by the party (MECON) on 25.09.2023 and was opened. Detail Price break-up was submitted on 29.09.2023. Multiple rounds of negotiations were held. Since revised price submitted by MECON post negotiation is still around 70% higher than estimate, decision was taken to drop the tender and adopt alternative method. Alternate strategy is under deliberation.
Legal opinion on modalities for execution of the balance jobs of the project through alternate method has been sought from Solicitor General of India by Corporate Law.
