Background Information

> Dismantling of old HOCL tanks completed by location. The existing old piles have been exposed which may be overlapping with the proposed tanks. Accordingly, the foundation layout with new piles has been finalised for new tanks. > Civil Package I Site was handed over on 18.12.2023 for construction of boundary wall, work front for all other jobs handed over on 06.03.2024 after receipt of NOC. Work is in progress for land development, construction of boundary wall and TTPA - 75% Work Progress. > Mechanical Package I - Majority of the detailed designs and drawings prepared & submitted by M/s B&R. All Tank foundation design and drawings peer reviewed by IIT, Bombay, and issued to the party for construction. Work is in progress for Tank Foundation Piling, Fabrication of MS Plates, Roof Truss & Other Structural components. 49% Work Progress. > Mechanical Package II Site was handed over on 31.03.2025. AFC drawings being issued for Product Piping and Hydrant line works. M/s. B&R has submitted isometric drawings for Hydrant lines /product pipelines and has been approved. 5% Work progress > 1. SBC of soil is very low, hence soil improvement shall be required. As per the advice of IIT, Mumbai, additional boreholes and tests have been done. Geotechnical report reviewed by IIT, Bombay, Tanks foundation design is also under peer review by the institute. 2. The old tanks at the site were constructed over pile caps with pile foundations by the erstwhile land occupier (M/s HOCL). Construction of proposed MS Tanks will involve dismantling of existing pile caps and removal of existing piles. Engg shall revert in case of issues in the removal of existing piles. 3. Existing cross-country pipeline was found fouling with boundary alignment on the additional land. The proposal for realignment of boundary in the affected area was approved on 18.07.24.Civil Package I Site handed over on 18.12.2023 for construction of boundary wall. Work in Progress. LOA placed for Mechanical Package I for Construction of Mild Steel Vertical Storage Tanks (IFRVT & CRVT) including Tank Foundation and Allied Works on 19.03.2024.
