commissioning tests) will be taken up after availability of water in water conductor system for Unit-3. COD of the unit is targeted

• Unit-4: Pre-commissioning activities are in progress. COD of the unit is targeted by Sep’25.
• Butterfly Valves for Unit-3 & 4: Erection work of BFV-3 & 4 is completed and overall commissioning of both BFVs is targeted by
mid of Jul’25.
• Main Inlet Valves for Unit- 3 & 4: Erection work for MIV-3 & 4 completed. Overall Commissioning of both MIVs is targeted by
mid of Jul’25. | • Unit-1:Pre-commissioning activities underway after successful boxing-up. Unit synchronization is likelyby Jun’24.
• Unit-2: Boxing up successfully completed on 26.12.2023. Unit synchronizationis likelyby Jul’24.
• Unit-3:Rotor successfully lowered on 08.03.24. Unit synchronization is likely by Aug’24.
• Unit-4:Runner and stator have been lowered. Rotor assembly is in progress in service bay. Unit synchronization is likely by Sep’24.
• Butterfly Valves for Unit-1 and 2: Both the BFVs have been lowered successfully on their foundations. Commissioning of both the BFVs is in progress.
• Upstream Surge Shaft- 1 and 2 (145 m each): Lining of USSS-1 required for commissioning of first two units is near completion and lining of USSS-2 is progressing well and likely to be completed by Jun’24.
• Down Stream Surge Shaft – 1 and 2 (70.5 m each):Shaft lining and grouting completed. Erection of fixed wheel gate is scheduled to be completed by end of Apr’24.
• Tail Race Tunnels- 1 and 2 (2406 m):Concrete lining competed. Grouting is in progress and likely to be completed by Apr’24.
• Outlet works including gate lowering:Concreting work completed. TRT Gate lowering is targeted bymid of Apr’24.
• Dismantling the flood protection wall and accomplish river joining worksAs per the discussion with UPID officials and subsequent communication received the shutdown of Tehri HPP and Koteshwar HEP to complete the river joining works may only be available from 15 May’24 or 01 Jun’24 to 30 Jun’24. In such case, commissioning of 1st Unit can be achieved by 31 Jul’24 and rest three units in a gap of one month each by Oct’24. |
