| • Dam excavation around 97% completed. Dam concreting in all five blocks is in progress.
• Heading and benching of all 3 DCs completed and around 81% concrete lining completed, and balance is in progress.
• HRT construction by TBM has been completed in 6060 m out of 11150 m and is in progress and targeted by Apr’26.
• In HRT by DBM (total scope: 1800 m), 81 % excavation completed. Overt lining completed in 975 m.
• Machine Hall: In Unit-1, erection of Spiral casing is in progress. Assembly work of Rotor of Unit-1 and Stay ring of Unit-2 is also in progress in Service Bay. In Unit-2, concreting up to Stay ring pedestal foundation is in progress. In Unit-3 & 4, concreting of U/s crane beam columns is in progress.
• Transformer Hall: Unit-1 handed over to EM for EoT erection work. In Unit-2, preparatory work for GIS slab casting is in progress and casting of balance GIS slab columns in other units is in progress.
• In TRT, around 89.2% heading and 22.5 % benching excavation completed, and balance is in progress. Overt lining completed in around 529 m and balance is in progress.
• EM Supplies: 64% Equipment materials have been completed.
| •River Diversion and Upstream Coffer Dam: Completed
•Dam excavation around 82.30% completed. Dam Concreting of Block -1 (NOF) Left Bank is in Progress.
•Heading of all 3 DCs completed, benching is in progress and an overall around 97% excavation and 59.42% concrete lining completed.
•Mining of entry adit to HRT through TBM has been completed. HRT construction by TBM has been completed in around 1057 m length. TBM encountered setbacks due to seepage, a stuck conveyor belt and damage to the mechanical seal, leading to a halt in TBM operations from 01.03.2024 to 25.03.2024. Consequently, only 30 m of HRT could be constructed in March 2024. After resolving these issues with technical experts, TBM operations resumed on 26.03.2024 and are currently ongoing.
•In Transformer Hall: Excavation and support measures has been completed.
•In Machine Hall: In Service Bay, for EoT erection rail sole plates at both U/S and D/S side placed. The Girder of both EOT cranes is erected on the beam. EoT erection is targeted by end of Apr’24. In Unit area, benching is in progress and Unit-1 pit excavation is targeted by end of Apr’24
•In TRT, 62.20% heading excavation completed and balance is in progress.
•At TRT outlet area, slope stabilization work is completed.
•EM Supplies: 48% Equipment/ materials have been completed.
