• Cumulative Dam concreting of 891152 cum out of 1395400 cum concrete achieved.
• Excavation of Top & Bottom Horizontal portion of all four pressure shafts and inclined Pressure Shafts of 125m each achieved.
• Concreting in PH is in progress and 25668 cum progress achieved out of total 49000 cum.
• Concreting of Power Intake in progress and 51705 cum progress achieved out of total 140000 cum.
ii. Hydro mechanical Package (Lot-II)
• Works awarded on 24.02.2020
• Detailed Engineering, manufacturing, inspection & supply of HM Components are in progress. Erection of Pressure Shaft Steel Liner in progress and Lower Horizontal Pressure Shaft #1, #2 and #3 completed.
• 405.8 m of erection of Steel Liners in PS#1, PS#2, PS#3 and PS#4 achieved.
iii. Electro Mechanical Package (Lot III)
• Works awarded on 24.02.2020.
• Detailed Engineering, manufacturing, inspection and supply of E&M Equipments are in progress.
• 2 no. EOT Crane, Earthing & Grounding System Material and 1st stage & 2nd stage embedments part, Upper & lower pit liner, 4 sets each of Draft tubes Elbow liner, pit liner, Draft tube Liner (Diffuser), Turbine & Rotor Shafts, Slip rings and carbon brush assembly, Thrust head, MIV OPU, Stay ring & spiral case, Stator frame & Stator sheets, 3 sets each of DT lower Cone & Stator pressing sheets, Runner, thrust Bearing Pad & Bus Reactor, 2set DG Set, 11kv Switchgear system, Transformer rails, Insulating & lubricating Oil Handling system, Pipe fitting & Rail embedments and Cooling water Pump sets & LP Compressor system have reached at Site. Service bay area of Power House cavern has been handed over to the E&M contractor on 22.07.2023 for start of E&M activities.
• Earthing of Service bay, Bus Duct unit 1,2, 3 & 4 and Power House Unit 1, 2, 3 and 4 has been completed. Erection of 240T EOT crane in Power House is completed. Erection of Draft Tube and Diffuser in Unit-1, Unit-2 & Unit-3 is completed and erection of spiral casing in Unit-1 is in progress.

• In current season, activity for filling of material for construction of Pre Coffer Dam has been completed on 14.10.2023 and activity for construction of of u/s and D/s Coffer Dam is in progress.
• Dam concreting resumed on 17.10.2023 and cumulative 318649 cum out of 1395400 cum concrete made till date. Breakthrough of all 4 Bus Duct have been achieved by 06.11.2023. Excavation of 75m Long Draft Tube Tunnel#2 & Draft tube Gate Shaft#4 completed on 26.09.2023 & 29.09.2023 respectively. Excavation of Top & Bottom Horizontal portion of all four pressure shafts and Pilot hole excavation of Inclined portion of all 4 PS of 125m each have also completed. Further, Widening/slashing of all inclined portion of PS#3, 2, 1 & 4 of 125m each achieved by 30.12.2023 respectively. In Transformer Cavern, the excavation work in Draft Tube Gate Shaft #1 and # 3 is in progress. About 28.55% physical progress achieved.
ii. Hydro mechanical Package (Lot-II)
• Works awarded on 24.02.2020
• Detailed Engineering, manufacturing, inspection & supply of HM Components are in progress. About 80% D&E Works completed. Further, Erection of Pressure shaft Steel Liner started in Bottom Horizontal Pressure Shaft # 3 on 09.02.2024 and 9.8m erected till date. About 21.00% physical progress achieved.
