| Major works of the Project have been divided in 07 packages. Out of which, 05 packages have been awarded. The other packages are in various stages of Tendering & Evaluation Process.
Lot-1: Design & Engineering through International Consultant (RCC Dam), Construction Planning and Construction Monitoring awarded to M/s STUDIO PIETRANGELI-SMEC JV on 30.06.2023.
Lot-2: Works of different project approach roads at left & right bank are under progress.
Open excavation of DT Outlet & Inlet portals is under progress and 3,70,348 cum excavation at DT Outlet Portal & 2,17,049 cum excavation at DT Inlet Portal completed. Cumulative excavation of 470 m length of Access Adit to Diversion Tunnel completed out of 473 m. Heading excavation of 372 m in DT-5, 393 m in DT-4, 265 m in DT-3 and 143.5 m in DT-2 completed out of 1204.4 m, 1238 m, 1272 and 1300.9 m respectively.
Lot-3: NIT of Lot-3 issued on 22.07.2024. Bids opened on 09.01.2025 and Techno-commercial bid evaluation is under progress.
Lot-4: Underground excavations are progress in tunnels/Adits. Heading Excavation of 281 m in MAT-1 and 559 m in MAT-2 done out of 364 m and 588 m respectively. Heading and Benching Excavation of 468 m in CCVT has been completed. Heading excavation of 693 m and benching excavation of 420 m out of 693 m in Adit to PH bottom/MIV floor has been done. Heading excavation of 19 m out of 592 m in Adit to HRT have been done.
Lot-5B: HM Works for Intake and Draft Tube Gates & Hoists: e-RA concluded on 24.02.2025 and further evaluation is in progress.
Lot-5C: HM work for Pressure Shaft steel liner has been awarded to M/s PES Engineers Pvt. Ltd. on 06.08.2024.
Lot-6: All Electro-Mechanical Works has been awarded to M/s BHEL India on 25.08.2023. Design and Engineering is in progress

Lot-1: Design & Engineering through International Consultant (RCC Dam), Construction Planning and Construction Monitoring awarded to STUDIO PIETRANGELI-SMEC JV on 30.06.2023. Finalization of tender inputs of Lot-3 is under process.
Lot-2: Works of Project roads and Diversion Tunnels awarded to M/s. L&T on 27.02.2023. Formation cutting of different project approach roads at left & right bank is under progress. Open excavation of DT outlet portal is under progress and 122000 cum excavation completed out of 242000 cum till March’24. Portal development is under progress for Additional access Adit to DT.
Lot-4: Works of Head Race Tunnels including Intake, Pressure Shafts, Penstocks, Power House & Transformer Cavern, Tail Race Tunnel, Pothead Yard and Adits has been awarded to M/s Dibang Power (Lot 4) Consortium on 25.08.2023.
Heading Excavation of 17.5m out of 302m in MAT-1, 13.6m out of 575m in MAT-2 & 5.25m out of 510m in CCVT has been completed till 31st March’24.
Lot-6: All Electro-Mechanical Works has been awarded to M/s BHEL India on 25.08.2023. Kick off meeting with Contractor was held at Project on 26.09.2023. Design and Engineering, Model testing work is in progress.
