| • Foundation stone for the project laid by Hon’ble Prime Minister on 16.02.2024.
• Out of total 1506.36 Acres of land, 1495.73 Acres of Land has been transferred in favour of NHPC till 31.05.2025. During this month 156.22 Acres land has been transferred in favour of NHPC and balance land is expected to be transferred shortly.
• Commercial operation of part capacity of 107.14 MW of has been commenced w.e.f. 12.04.2025. Work is in progress. Till May 2025, 237 MWp of Bifacial DCR Modules have been received at the site out of which around 215 MWp Modules have been installed.
• IREDA vide letter dated 23.05.2025 have granted further time extension up to 31.12.2025 for completion of the project.
• Project is facing supply chain constraints of domestically manufactured Solar DCR modules. Contractor is being vigorously followed up to expedite the supply of balance Solar PV Modules.
| • NHPC has awarded EPC Contract for development of 300 MW (out of 1000 MW) Grid connected Solar PV Project and transmission line for Power Evacuation to ISTS Sub-Station to M/s Tata Power Solar System Limited on 12.05.2022 under CPSU Scheme.
• Total sale deed for 1133 acres (out of total 1500 acres) executed in favour of NHPC. 159 acre land transferred in favour of M/s Tata. However, entire 1500 Acre land is in possession for construction activities and formal transfer of balance land is in process.
• Construction work is in progress with accomplishment of supply of BOS items and ongoing erection activities for respective items. IREDA has granted time extension for project commissioning up to 30.09.2024. Module supply is anticipated to be started by May/June’24. Request for time extension up to 31.12.2024 already submitted to MNRE on 27.02.2024.
