Background Information

Land Acquisition is in progress 722.69 Ha completed out of 727.14 Ha and 627.22 Ha Handed over to Railways. Walajah Road - Ranipet section (6 Km) commissioned for Goods Traffic on 23.11.2020. The Walajah Road - Nagari NL portion is required on priority to ease the operations over AJJ - RU section. EPC tenders awarded and work in progress for Nagari – Podathurpettai and Walajah Road - Sholingur Town Sections. Both Sections are targeted for completion by Mar - 2026.

Land Acquisition is in progress and are in various stages.
