Background Information

Land Acquisition is in progress and are in various stages.

LPS for 725.21 Ha submitted during June 2010. Total amount of Rs.577.15 Cr deposited. 266 Ha land received so far. Reg Vengunam Forest Land (3.179 Ha) of TN & Pullur West Forest Land (4.70 Ha) of AP, both stage I & II approval given by MoEF&CC and diversion of land completed. WJR - Ranipet section (6 Km) commissioned for Goods Traffic on 23.11.2020. The WJR- NG NL portion is required on priority to ease the operations over AJJ - RU section.
