TDC : 207.40 Kms - Commissioned (Dhoswas-Ratlam-Mhow, Sanawad-Nimarkheri, Nimarkheri-Khandwa bye pass cabin-Mathela & Khandwa bye pass cabin -Khandwa Jn (up to WR Limit) : 5.40 km -Mar.24/April-24 (Sanawad-Omakareshwar) One train system : 5.51 km - Jan.24/ April-24 (Mhow- Patalpani) One train system : 4.6 Km - Dec.25 (Patalpani- Badiya) : 60.5 Km - Feb.27 (Badiya-Mukhtiyara) : 20.7 Km - Feb.26 (Muktiyara - Omakareshwar) : 21.54 Km - Commissioned (Fatehabad - Ujjain) : 9.51 Km - Jan.24/Apr-24 [Rau - Mhow (Dr. Ambedkar Nagar)] Subject to completion of timely completion of land acquisition. Work is in progress.Total length - 472.64 km + 22.96 km (Through material modification for Fatehabad-Chandravatiganj- Ujjain). Western railway- 298.64 km+ 22.96 km South central railway-174.00 km Railway wise progress is as under:- Western Railway :- Sections Commissioned- (i) Dhoswas- Ratlam- Indore-Rau-Mhow– 147.70 KM (ii) Nimarkhedi- Mathela - 45.61 Km. (iii) Sanawad-Nimarkhedi (11.6 Km)-CRS inspection done on 31.03.2021. (iv) Fathabad-Ujjain (22.96 Km) –CRS inspection done on 11.02.2021. Work in progress:- i) Khandwa Bye Pass cabin to Khandwa (4.50 Km) – The section has been commissioned on 09.01.2023 ii) Rau-Mhow doubling (9.50 km ) – Tender has been awarded on 23.12.2022. iii) For section from Muktiyara Balwada to Sanawad (26.10 KM) having grade 1:150, EPC tender is under associate finance vetting. • ROW of only 65% length of the section is available. The RTM-MHOW-KNW project has been declared as ‘Special Railway Project’. Total land acquisition is 17.51 ha. As for 6.29 ha. Pvt land in Khandwa District, award is declared. Payment of compensation is made. Possession of land has been taken. As for 3.51 ha. Government land, the possession ofland has been taken. As for 7.73 ha. Private land, notification under section 20-E has been issued. For 0.22 ha forestland, the procedure for stage I clearance is under progress. • The tender has been awarded on 29.09.2022 for Important Bridge span of 13x61.0m Open web/Through girder with 25Tonne axle loading -2008 in place of existing bridge of span (14x55.74m + 2x 7.64m) underslung through steel girder MG standard loading over Narmada. The work will be started after closure train services by RTM division and expected from 01.02.2023 iv) The section Mhow – Mukhtiyar balwada (70.76 Km): Original DPE was sanctioned for ruling gradient 1:100. Operating department had asked for revision of ruling Grade 1:150 instead of 1:100. Vide letter No.93/W-I/GC/W/12/ RTM-MHOW-Part-5 dated 05.07.2021 Railway Board has accorded approval for change in ruling gradient from 1in100 to 1 in 150. FLS tender had been reinvited and awarded on 09.05.2022 and the work is in progress. Land acquisition proposals, and tender planning will be done after the submission of FLS report. South Central Railway:- 1.Akola-Akot (43.50 Km) - commissioned. 2.Akot-Amalakhurd (77.43 Km) - Alignment is passing through Melghat tiger Reserve. Detailed Estimate sanctioned for carrying out GC on same alignment. But Forest and wild life clearances not received from Forest department. Work not started. 3. Amalkhurd - Khandwa (54.50 Km). - Work in progress. The track is passing through Reserved forest from Km 644.80 to km.619.80 between Gurhi-Amalakhurd stations. Revised on line application for diversion of forest land of 21.446 HA is submitted to Forest department on. The balance work is in progress.
