| Detailed Estimate for Dahod-Indore New Line Project was sanctioned by Railway Board for 1640.04 Crs on 19.06.2012. Electrification estimate for Dahod-Indore was sanctioned for 233.06 Crs on 26.06.2020.
Railway Board vide Letter Dtd 18.05.2020 had advised to keep the project on hold and short-close all the existing contracts.
Again Railway Board vide letter Dtd 16.12.2021 had advised for de-freezing of project and process for land acquisition.
32.30 KM Out of 204.76 Km completed and commissioned. Tunnel excavation of Tihi -Pithampur Completed. Land aquisation of Dhar-Sardarpur and Umarkot-Jhabua in progress. Tender for Dhar -Amjhera- Sardarpur awarded and work in progress | 32.30 KM Out of 204.76 Km completed and commissioned. 24.60 Km of Pithampur-Sagore - Gunawad track linking with SH rails completed and fit for Trolley movement. TRR will be done after completion of Tunnel between Tihi-Pithampur. Land Acquisition completed Except for Tirla-jhabua section for which LAQ and FLS is in progress. Work between Tihi-Dhar and Jahuba- Katwara is in progress. Alignment between Dhar-Amjhera has been revised as per the reference of Honble minister IPIP of Govt of Madhya Pradesh and BOQ Tenders for Dhar-Tirla-Amjhera invited and under finalisation. BOQ tender for Amjhera-Sardarpur under preparation . Plan and L-Sections under finalization for Umerkot-Jhabua and the alignmnet between Sardarpur-Umerkot under revision to avoid passing through Karmore Bird Sanctuary. |
