Background Information

a) Jaynagar - Kurtha (35 Km):- Commissioned. Section handed over to Govt. of Nepal on 22.10.2021. b) Kurtha to Bijalpura (17 Km):- Commissioned. Speed trial of the section has been done on 08.09.2022. Section handed over to Govt. of Nepal on 01.06.2023. c) Land between Bijalpura - Bardibas section has been acquired by Department of Railway, GON, on 07.11.2023. Survey work of Bijalpura - Bardibas section for the demarcation of the land boundary has been completed by fixing of Centerline, Boundary, and TBM Pillars.DE submitted by IRCON to Rly. Bd.,returned with observation and again submitted to Rly. Bd. after compliance, which is returned with observation. Observation complied and submitted to Rly. Bd. on 08.01.2025. Again after observation sent to Rly. Bd. on 05.03.2025.a) Jaynagar - Kurtha (35 Km):- Commissioned. Section handed over to Govt. of Nepal on 22.10.2021. b) Kurtha to Bijalpura (18 Km):- Commissioned.
