Background Information
Mohanpur - Hansdiha (39.71 Km) part of Pirpainti - Jasidih (99.73 Km) project: Completed & Commissioned on 31.03.2023. Balance section: Godda - Pirpainti (60.24 Km): Project sanctioned on Railway cost in Dec22 due to Jharkhand State disassocited themselves for funding. Land Acquition: Against 418.82 Acre of Pvt Land and 51.934 Acre of Govt land in Godda – Mahagama Section, Rs. 238.60 Cr & Rs. 46.65 Cr respectively has been deposited to Jharkhand State so far.The GODDA - PIRPAINTI Section has been declared as SPECIAL RAILWAY PROJECT vide Gazette Notification dated 17.03.2023 (Sectoin 2 of the Railway (Amendment Act-2008). DC/Godda/Jharkhand have been requested accordingly for early appointment of CALA vide letter No. CAO/Con/L/268(A) dated 29.03.23. Early appointment is solicited to expedite the prpgress. Hasdiha – Mohanpur (39.71 km) -- Section: Hansdiha – Harlatarn (23.73 Km) – Commissioned on 31.03.2023. Harlatarn – Mohanpur (15.98 Km) – Commissioned on 22.03.2023.
