Background Information

Wardha to Yavatmal (78km) Project sanctioned on 60:40 cost sharing with Govt. of Maharashtra. Wardha to Yavatmal is being executed by C.Rly. Yavatmal to Nanded (206 km) is transferred to RVNL. Complete land acquisition done except Additional land required by RVNL, which is being acquired under Railway (Amendment) Act 2008. Wardha - Deoli Section (15 kms) commissioned on 30.08.2023 and Deoli-Kalamb (23.61 Km) commissioned on 23.12.2023. Balance work is in progress.
