| i) Works are in progress for the section between Urukere - Thimmarajanahalli (13.3 Km).
ii) EPC tender was awarded for the section between Bharmasagara - Tolahunse (25 Km) on 22.09.2022 and work is in progress.
iii) EPC tender for the section Chitradurga - Bharmasagara (26 Km) was awarded on 05.06.2024 and works are in progress.
iv) EPC tender for the section Thimmarajanahalli - Tavarakere (41 Km) has been awarded on 07.03.2025.
v) EPC tender for the balance section between Tavarakere - Chitradurga (75.8 km) will be called after handing over of balance land by GoK.
vi) For the financial year 2024-25, an amount of Rs. 150 Cr. is requested from GoK vide letter No.W.63/CN/BNC/Bud/E8193 dated 19.03.2024. However, no amount has been deposited.
vii) A meeting was conducted by GM/SWR with CS/IDD/GoK on 19.09.2024 to expedite the land acquisition of new line projects and other issues involved in the cost sharing projects.
viii) Meeting was conducted with Railways under the chairmanship of Secretary IDD/GoK 30.01.2025 with all concerned DCs. | i) For the section, Urukere - Thimmarajanahalli (13.5 Km) work is in progress.
ii) EPC tender for the section between CTA- Bharmasagar of Km:28.72 was called on 24.08.23 with bid opening date as 01.04.2024 as the land will be handed over by GoK only in Apr-24.
iii) For the remaining sections, EPC tenders will be called after acquiring 90% of land by Government of Karnataka.
iv) GM/SWR vide letter No.W.193/CN/BNC/IDD/General dt 05.10.2023 has requested to direct all the concerned to expedite the land acquisition for all the new lines and hand over the same at the earliest. |
