| i) Khajjidhoni - Lokapur (9 Kms) - Work is under progress and is targeted for the financial year 2023-24 with ABS system.
ii) EPC tender was awarded for the section between Lokapur - Yadwad (22 Km) on 31.05.2023 and planning work is in progress.
iii) EPC tender for works between the section Yadwad - Jamkhandi (24.6 Km) was floated on 03.08.2023 and bid opened on 15.02.2024 and the entire land has been handed over in this section.
iv) EPC tender for the section Jamkhandi - Jagdal (17 Km) was floated on 05.09.2023 with bid opening on 03.04.2024 and the entire land has been handed over in this section.
v) EPC tender for the section Jagdal - Suttati (28.5 Km) was floated on 13.10.2023 with bid opening on 30.04.2024. | (i)Khajjidoni - Lokapur (9 Kms) - All land handed over in Dec - 2021. Tenders awarded and work started.
(ii) Lokapur - Yadwad(23 Kms) - 21.25 Acres out of 389.51 Acres yet to be handed over. EPC has been called on 16.11.2022 for a value of Rs.357.45 Cr and tender has opened on 14.02.2023.
(iii)Yadwad - Kudachi(83 Km) - Entire land has been handed over between Yadwad - Harugeri and for the section between Harugeri - Kudachi, balance land of 169.23 acres out of 306.79 acres is in award stage. Tenders for the sections Kudachi - Harugeri and Harugeri - Jagdal were called and tenders are under finalisation.
(iv) GoK has intimated their willingness to partially share a cost of Rs.603.78 Cr against their share of Rs.765.04 Cr vide DO.No.IDD 192 NSW 2022 (part-1) dtd.15.11.2022 and reference has been made to Railway board to communicate the decision regarding the same. Railway Board has agreed the proposal for funding the net shortfall of Rs.161.26 Cr by Ministry of Railways vide letter no. 2007/W-I/NL/SWR/BK dated
26.12.2022.
(v)The same has been communicated to IDD/GoK to issue necessary GO.
(vi) Forest clearance for land to the tune of 41.58 acres has been issued on 2.6.2023 only.
(vii) As per the latest Railway board instructions, electrification as part of New line to be processed as pert of separate work. |
