Rayanapadu Yard: Laying of New Common loop line completed duly dismantling the existing 2 goods lines in connection with tripling work. Vijayawada A (NWBH)?Kondapalli (9.08Km), New West Block Hut-Vijayawada (7.6Km) are targeted in 2022-23.
Detailed estimate for KAZIPET-KONDAPALLI (202 km) sanctioned by Railway Board for Rs.1693.45 Cr Dt. 02.02.2017. LA is in progress. Kazipet yard: a) Goods stabling line formation for 8, 9, 10 & 11 lines completed, Track linking work is in progress. b)Two nos newly constructed Pit Line No 1 & 2 (lengths 674 m each) of 26 Coach capacity as per CAMTECH Drawing at Kazipet Junction were inaugurated by GM on 24.12.2021. With this now Full rake Train (26 Coach) maintenance can be done at Kazipet. c) RRI cabin ground level slab, 1st &2nd floor slab completed. Electrical works in progress. OHE building ground floor and 1st floor slab & Brick work completed. Plastering, brightening and flooring works are in progress. Tower car shed completed. Kazipet-Warangal: 16 out of 22 minor bridges completed. Formation up to SQ2 level completed for 4 Km.
