| i) Land acquisition proposal for acquiring land to the full extent of 488 Ha has been submitted to GoK.
ii) GoK have not initiated land acquisition process, although requisition to acquire entire land of 488 Ha has been submitted by the Railways in the year 2013 & GoK have not released any funds to concerned DCs for this purpose. Hence work could not be commenced till date.
iii) CAO/CN/BNC vide letter No. W.193/CN/BNC/SMET-HRR/NL dt 31.07.2023 has requested IDD/GoK to fix priority for the project and intimate their consent for reviewing the detailed estimate of the project with the latest rates.
iv) Subsequently, IDD/GoK has examined the proposal submitted by SWR and decided not to accord the concurrence for the proposal vide their letter No. IDD 03 NSW 2023 dt 31.10.2023 and the same was communicated to the Railway board vide letter dt 18.12.2023.
v) Further, CAO/CN/BNC has requested PCOM/UBL vide letter dt 05.01.2024 to review the requirements of this project and accordingly to fix the priority of this project. | ACS/IDD/GoK has been requested vide ltr no.W.193/CN/BNC/SMET-HRR dated 14.03.2022 for communicating the program for land acquisition since work can be commenced only on completion of 100% land acquisition by GoK. |
