| i) Work is under progress for the section between Tumkur - Urukere (11 Km).
ii) For Pavagada - Doddahalli (16 Km) section, work is under progress.
iii) EPC tender for the section between Madakasira - Pavagada (22 Km) was awarded on 31.12.2024.
iv) EPC tender for the section between Urukere - Koratagere (18 Km) has been awarded on 07.03.2025.
v) EPC tender for the balance sections between Koratagere - Madhugiri (21 km) & Madhugiri - Madakasira (35 Km) opened on 03.01.2025 & 16.01.2025 respectively and tender is under finalization
vi) For the financial year 2024-25, an amount of Rs. 150 Cr. is requested from GoK vide letter No.W.63/CN/BNC/Bud/E8193 dated 19.03.2024. Accordingly, an amount of Rs. 102.50 Cr has been deposited by GoK for the year 2024-25.
vii) A meeting was conducted by GM/SWR with CS/IDD/GoK on 19.09.2024 to expedite the land acquisition of new line projects and other issues involved in the cost sharing projects.
vii) Meeting was conducted with Railways under the chairmanship of Secretary IDD/GoK on 30.01.2025 with all concerned DCs. | i) Tender for the sections between Tumkur - Urukere (12 Km) and Pavagada - Dodahalli (16 Km) has been awarded during Aug 2023 and the planning is in progress.
ii) For the remaining sections, EPC tenders will be called after acquiring 90% of land by Government of Karnataka.
iii) GM/SWR vide letter No.W.193/CN/BNC/IDD/General dt 05.10.2023 has requested to direct all the concerned to expedite the land acquisition for all the new lines and hand over the same at the earliest. |
