| i) Tender for the sections between Tumkur - Urukere (12 Km) and Pavagada - Dodahalli (16 Km) has been awarded during Aug 2023 and the planning is in progress.
ii) For the remaining sections, EPC tenders will be called after acquiring 90% of land by Government of Karnataka.
iii) GM/SWR vide letter No.W.193/CN/BNC/IDD/General dt 05.10.2023 has requested to direct all the concerned to expedite the land acquisition for all the new lines and hand over the same at the earliest. | (i)GoK has intimated their willingness to partially share a cost share a cost of Rs. 520.54 Cr against heir share against their share of Rs 726.27 Cr vide DO.No.IDD 192 NSW 2022 (part-1) dtd.15.11.2022 and eference has been made to railway board to communicate the decision regarding the same.
(ii) Railway Board has agreed the proposal for funding the net shortfall of Rs.205.63 Cr by ministry of ailways.
(iii) Subsequently GoK has accorded the administrative approval for sharing the revised cost of Rs.520.54 r by issuing G.O. on 16.03.2023.
(iv) GM/SWR has requested Railway Board vide letter No. W.193/CN/BNC/TK-RDG/NL dtd 24.01.2023 to accord anction to fund the additional cost falling in Andhra Pradesh.
(v Govt. of Andhra Pradesh vide letter Dt 13/06/2023 has requested to examine the preliminary report submitted by the Collector/Ananthapuram so as to reduce the land acquisition involved in the project and the completion period of the project. Accordingly SWR has decided to consider the proposal as suggested by GoAP. |
