2. LAND POSITION: Guntur District : LA Completed ( Govt 55.38 Ha, Pvt 328.197,Forest 7.48 Ha) , Prakasam Dist ( Govt 384.22/398.03, Pvt 381.36/362.89, Forest 14.02/14.02) Nellore Dist (Govt 132.22/507.41, Pvt 0/378.45, Forest 97.23/97.23)
3. Forest Land: Stage-I clearance given for total land. Working permit obtained in Guntur and Prakasam districts. Stage-II clearance under process.
4. Section bet NPGRL-SYM 45.85 Km was commissioned on 14.6.2020 without Electrification has been handed over to Open line on 17.11.2021. Tenders called for RE with full Rly cost bet Piduguralla & Savalyapuram 1) Phase-IIA: bet GKM- Darsi(26.5Km) 2)Phase-IIB :bet Darsi-Kanigiri(53.5Km). Further works bet GKM-Kanigiri (80 Km) are in progress and 60% work (EW and Bridges) completed. Work stopped due to non availability of funds because of non payment of AP Govt share & ambiguity in payment of AP state Govt. share. Two Imp Br bet Kanigiri & Obulayapalle stations are in progress.
5. Asst required: State Govt. of AP has to deposit its share of Rs.1351 Cr Govt. of AP deposited only Rs.6 Crs and share is pending from the year 2016 to till date. Further, LA in Prakasam and Nellore Dists to be expedited. Further works can be taken up only after receipt of State share of funds. FG & Expenditure for 2021-22 was 51.79 Cr. BG for 2022-23 is 150 Cr (EBRIF).Balance Dep from state Govt is 1351.0 Cr. hence works can be progressed only after receiving the share from State Govt.
6. Tenders for Electrification is finalized on 28.1.2022. TDC for Phase-II to V is not decided since works are kept under abeyance due to non deposit of share by A.P State Govt. Proposal is submitted to RB on 12.3.2022 for 100% funding of project by Rly with revised ROR 10.69% & revised project cost Rs.3122 Cr.
