| Bhadrachalam Yard connection completed in the month of Mar-21. BDCR- Chandragonda section (25.10 km), Chandrugonda – Bhavanapalem (15.10 Km) has been completed in all respects. 54.10 Km of track linking has been completed.
Section was inspected by Statutory Interdepartmental Safety Committee team of South Central Railway i.e. CTE/SC, CSE/SC & CEDE/SC headed by PCSO/SC on 16/05/2022 for opening of section for goods traffic.
Safety committee has given their report and recommended to run goods traffic on new line for which final authorization of GM/SCR RECEIVED ON 27.05.2022. First Goods train started loading operations from 28.05.2022.
i.Total no of ROBs -7, completed - 5, Balance - 2
ii. Total no of RUBs – 41, Completed – 41.
iii.Electrification completed between Bhadrachalam-Bhavnapalem (40.2 Km) and testing with electric engine done on 01.04.22. Balance electrification work b/w Bhavanapalem-sattupalli is in progress.
iv.Blanketing and ballast are completed
v.One 20 RP rail rake (42 panels) were unloaded and TRR work has also been completed. With this now, New 20 RP rails have been laid up to Km: 54.10 ie entire stretch of alignment.
vi.Minor Br.No.71 (1 x 2 x 2.85 m RCC Box) has been completed in all respects, with this all bridges and RUBs have been completed.
