| 270.62 km has been commissioned up to March 2024 out of total stretch of 352.28 km. Remaining 64.5 km work is in progress. Planning to commission the project in Dec 2026. | 1.269.04 km has been commissioned up to March 2021 out of total stretch of 352.28 km. 2. For Tinaighat-Vasco Phase-II, proposals for diversion of 10.45 Ha in Karnataka and 138.39 Ha in Goa are under consideration of MoEF. Execution of work in Tinaighat-Kalem (45.17 km) can only be planned after receipt of MoEF clearance. One NGO M/s. The Goa Foundation has filed a PIL before Goa Bench of High Court and Central Empowered Committee. There is massive resistance from public representatives as well as local public against doubling in the state of Goa. 3. All works in the section between Chandergoa-Madgoan (8.94km) and Majorda-Vasco (16.96km) were stopped as per discussions held with State Govt. of Goa since 20th Nov 2020. 4. 6.017 ha of land is yet to be acquired. Competent Authority SDM/Vasco has kept on hold the hearing against representation received against land acquisition in view of public protests. |
