| Progress Report of June’ 2025
1. Up to the month june 2025, the project has achieved a cumulative financial progress of 2698 Cr. (Including the cost of rails & sleepers). Revised sanction estimate is 2445.30 Cr. Second revised estimate (Rs 4353.50 Cr) recommended by WCR and submitted to Railway Board for approval. Out of total 266 km length from Katni- Singrauli , 218 km has been commissioned till May ’2025 Further planning of commissioning is as under:
a. FY 2025-27 46.19 Km (Decision of alternate alignment bypassing Sanjay Tiger Reserve received on 18.01.2023. FLS Work has been completed. Final DPR under approval of WCR The revised estimated recommended by WCR and under approval of Railway Board.
2. Earthwork 71.15 Lakh-cum completed against total 71.15 Lakh- cum (Excl. BEHR-JOBA).
3. Blanketing 8.73 lakh cum completed against total 8.73 lakh cum (Excl. BEHR-JOBA).
4. Ballast supply 8.75 lakh cum completed against 8.75 Lakh cum (Excl. BEHR-JOBA).
5. Minor bridges 245 nos. completed against total 245 nos.
6. Major Bridges completed 38 nos out of 38 nos (excluding BEHR-JOBA Section).
7. LHS 43 nos. completed against total of 43 nos (excluding BEHR-JOBA).
8. Track linking with New Rail 240 tr-km completed out of total 264 km.
9. Fabricated steel girders for major/important bridges/RUB 143 spans Completed.
10. launching Girders 130 Span Completed out of 130, (excluding BEHR-JOBA).
11. Cumulative casting of Deck slab 101 spans out of 101 spans completed
12. Tenders finalized for a total of ¿ 1845.58 Cr. for civil, electrical and S&T works.
13. A total of 5 applications for forest clearance under FCA 1980 was made and uploaded on the Parivesh Portal. Out of 5 no. of proposals, Stage – I clearance and permission to work has been received against 4 proposals under the jurisdictions of DFO - Katni, Shahdol and Singrauli in different phases of time. Status of balance one proposal is as under:
One proposal (FP/MP/RAIL/41734/2019) now pending is that for diversion of 72.83 ha land with a stretch of 27.5 km length falling under Sanjay Tiger Forest Reserve Area. This is affecting three block section in total with a length of 47.5 km between Beohari and Marwasgram. The proposal is presently with National Board of Wild Life (NBWL).
In the meantime, Decision of alternate alignment bypassing Sanjay Tiger Reserve received from Rly Board on 18.01.2023 and hence withdrawal of this issue shall be processed. FLS of Alternate alignment completed. Final DPR shall be approved by WCR after approval of Revise Estimate. The revised estimated recommended by WCR and under approval in Railway Board.

1. Up to the month March’2024, the project has achieved a cumulative financial progress of 2378.92 Cr. (Including the cost of rails & sleepers). Cost has been revised to 2445.30 Cr. Mainly due to price escalation.
2. Out of total 261 km length, 180.46 km has been commissioned out of total 261 Km till March’ 2024 Further planning of commissioning is as under:
a. FY 2023-24 30.90 km and
b. FY 2024-25 7.51 km
