Digvumetta–Gazulapalli: As per REC Sub – Committee site inspection report received on 24.05.2023, revised the wildlife mitigation plan and resubmitted of DFO/NDL on 16.06.2023. Again, further revised the mitigation plan based on discussion held between Dy CE/C/II/GNT and DFO/NDL and resubmitted on 26.06.2023 for onward process in connection with forwarding of the Wilde life proposal by PCCF & HoFF to State level wild life Board (SLWB) for clearance to National Board for wildlife (NBWL).
• SBWL cleared the proposal on 26.09.23 and forwarded to MOEF&CC for NBWL clearance.
• NTCA clearance received by NBWL. NBWL meeting Held on 17.11.2023. Clearance given by NWBL on 8.12.2023. Working permission Processed after depositing 5% of the project cost i.e 5% of Rs 270Crs = 13.50 Cr. Which is deposited on 18.03.2024 to DFO/Nandyal, apart from depositing Rs.14.83 Cr towards WLC & CSR charges on 18.03.2024. working permission received on 20.07.2024. regarding stage-II clearance, proposal cleared by Secy, forests and sent to MoEFCC regional office Vijayawada on 01.08.2024. Stage-II Forest clearance Diguvametta-Gazulapalli is obtained on 20.08.2024
• Forest clearance for 5.42 Ha in Nandyal-Betamcherla section.
1. 3.21 Ha (Panyam Reserve Forest) – Forest Diversion proposal recommended and forwarded by PCCF to AP Govt. on 26.05.2023. MoEFCC granted stage-I clearance on 26.06.2023. Payment of Rs.3.52 Cr done through NEFT to DFO/Nandyal on 21.09.23 towards NPV, tree cutting and CA charges. Awaiting Stage-II clearance. However, in this strectch, Panyam-Bugganipalli Doubling commissioned in Dec’245 already.
2. 2.21 Ha (Dhone Reserve Forest) – Forest diversion proposal recommended and forwarded by PCCF to AP Govt. on 29.05.2023. MoEFCC granted stage-I clearance on 21.06.2023. Payment of Rs.1.28Cr done on 19.09.23 to DFO/Nandyal towards NPV, tree cutting and CA charges. Awaiting Stage-II clearance. However, in this stretch, Malkapuram-Dhone doubling already commissioned in Nov’2023 already
