| i) Dharwad District - JMC for land acquisition between Kyarakoppa - Tegur has been completed for 25.3 Km out of 26.7 Km. Final notification for 142 Acres of land has been done and 169 Acres awaited. Balance JMC of 1.4Km has been held up due to objections of local farmers.
ii) Belgaum Disrict - Farmers have demanded for the change of alignment from km:60/000 - 73/000DC/Belgaum was informed on 16.09.2023 about the non feasibility of the alignment as demanded by the farmers and requested him to provide police protection for fixing the boundary stones between Km:60/0 to 73/0. Proposal for final notification of 444 Acres of land has been sent to the Head office of KIADB.
iii) Meeting held in DC Office Belagavi under chairmanship of Honorable MP/Belagavi on 02.08.2024 regarding JMC work, police protection and other related issues. Due to this, JMC for land acquisition started between Tegur - Bagewadi on 06-08-2024.
iv) JMC work completed from 6/100 to 46/800 km. Balance survey works from 60-73 km was taken up with heavy deployment of police force, the same was completed along with the fixing of center line stones.
v) Due to continuous followup action, JMC for land acquisition is completed upto 62 km. Further preparation of PT sheets and reports is under progress at ADLR Bailhongal and ADLR Belgavi office. Once this is prepared, it will be further submitted to the Government of Karnataka for approval of 28 (4) notification of KIADB act.
vi) Further, 62-73 km centre line marking and boundary stone fixation is completed.
vii) Meeting chaired by MOSR and Hon’ble MP/Dharwad regarding land acquisition on 08.12.2024. DC/Dharwad informed that Dharwad district land (except Mammigatti village area as the farmers are demanding for change of alignment) will be handed over to Railways by 31.01.2025. However, the same is yet to be handed over.
viii) Meeting was conducted with Railways under the chairmanship of Secretary IDD/GoK on 30.01.2025 with Sectretary IDD/GoK and all concerned DCs. | i) Tender for placing of boundary posts along the alignment is finalized.
ii) EPC tender from Kyarakoppa - Mammigatti (11.7 km) was called on 06.02.2023 for Rs.244 Cr. and Initial tender opening date was 06.06.2023 and further extended upto 20.12.2023, subjected to handing over to land by GoK. However, due to non availability of land, the tender was canceled on 27.11.2023.
iii) JMC for land acquisition between Kyarakoppa - Tegur has been completed for 25.3 Km out of 26.7 Km. Balance JMC of 1.4Km has been held up due to objections of local farmers. A meeting was conducted with the District in charge Minister of Dharwad and DC Dharwad on 18.11.2023 and 23.12.2023 to resolve the issue. However, farmers did not agree for the same. Further, Hon’ble District Incharge Minister of Dharwad informed that he would inspect the site to resolve the issue in the first week of Jan 2024.
iv) JMC for land acquisition between 26.7 km to 60.0 km Tegur- Bagewadi is yet to start. |
