| i) Land acquisition is still in the initial stages. Meeting was conducted under the chairmanship of ACS/IDD and CAO/CN to discuss Land Acquisition issues pertaining to New Railway Lines on 16.11.2022 and he has stated that priority will be given only to ongoing New line cost sharing projects.
ii) Revised land requisition has been given to DC/HAS for Belur 92.71 Ha and Alur 109.86 ha of land on 28/08/2023 and 28/11/2023 respectively. An additional land requirement of 4.25 Ha - requisition submitted on 06-04-2024.
iii) Land acquisition is in progress.
iv) A meeting was conducted by GM/SWR with CS/IDD/GoK on 19.09.2024 to expedite the land acquisition of new line projects and other issues involved in the cost sharing projects.
v) Meeting was conducted with Railways under the chairmanship of Secretary IDD/GoK on 30.01.2025 with Sectretary IDD/GoK and all concerned DCs. | i) Land acquisition is still in the initial stages.
