Background Information
Project approved in Jan’ 2018 with cost of Rs 231.8 crore and it was to be completed by Dec 2019. It is a Phase VIII.4 Access LOT2 project. Capacity 18.5 lakh lines. BTS planned 3448 BTS and installed till Dec -2019 2995 Nos & till June -2020 3351 Nos& July- 3399. The project is delayed due to non payment of vendor bills. Vendors are not ready to erect the tower and laying OFC,so site can not be makeover to vendor for integration. Also, due to financial crunch, BSNL not able to pay new electricity connection and RTT NOC. Not able to transport battery and PP for Installation at new sites.
